Nadia Bey

Hello! I am a public health professional specializing in policy analysis, data analysis, and research. I am also a writer, and these skills have been useful in public health and journalism settings.

I am driven by the belief that everyone deserves equal access to information and resources, and I believe my experience in different sectors - from government consulting to universities - is one of my greatest strengths. Being a reporter taught me how to ask questions and hunt down records, which was incredibly useful when I needed to develop a qualitative instrument or find evidence of a policy’s impact. Likewise, I could draw on the data analysis skills, ability to critically appraise research studies, and policy advocacy training I gained through public health to help people understand the true impact of health decisions. I have also helped students and professionals with no journalism experience navigate working with journalism outlets.

This website highlights some of my work. Feel free to explore!

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, creative writing, volunteering, and going to museums, movies, and live performances. I also post about public health and pop culture online.
