Hello! I am a public health researcher and communicator with experience in university, nonprofit, consulting, and journalism settings.

I am driven by the belief that everyone deserves equal access to information and resources, and my experience in different sectors is one of my greatest strengths. Being a reporter taught me how to ask questions and hunt down records, which was incredibly useful when I needed to develop a qualitative instrument or find evidence of a policy’s impact. I have also helped students and professionals with no journalism experience navigate working with journalism outlets.

Likewise, I can draw on the data analysis skills, ability to understand research studies, and policy advocacy training I gained through public health to help people understand the true impact of health decisions.

This website highlights some of my work. Feel free to explore! Outside of work, I enjoy reading, creative writing, volunteering, and going to museums, movies, and live performances. I also post about public health and pop culture online.
